    Athletics

    Russell Sage College is a small school with lots of spirit and a huge athletics presence. 

    The Gators have 21 varsity teams that compete as a Division III member of the NCAA. Most of our teams compete as a member of the Empire 8 Conference and our student-athletes have appeared in several NCAA tournaments.

    Get Recruited - As a Division III school, many of our teams allow for walk on opportunities. Share your interest and information with our coaches who will be happy to connect with you.

    We're a D-III school which means you get to pursue your sport at a high level and your academics too. And we have a lot of sports, men and women's soccer, lacrosse, basketball, track and field, cross country, volleyball, and golf. A baseball team, women's softball, tennis, and field hockey. And there's even a coed esports team with its own eSports arena! We play in the Empire Eight which is a competitive league. And gators stick together. We get along as a team and as student-athletes. You'll always see people you know on campus! Go Gators!
