I really like the location of the Albany campus because it's right in the middle of Albany.
It's actually open. There's a lot of green space.
There's tons of restaurants, which is my favorite thing.
Being in Albany, you are close to the Capital District, you're close to the state buildings.
Students who want to be involved in politics, who want to intern there have it very close.
If you're looking to get into law, if you're looking to get into the medical field, there's lots of advantages there for you.
There's a lot of opportunity for internships at Albany Med or at St. Peter's Hospital.
I worked with the Office of Post Secondary Access, Success and Support. That's over in the New York State Education Department.
On the bus routes, you can get to downtown Albany, and there's a fantastic bike path along the river.
I like to go down to Washington Park, just like this really nice big park that has a lake and lots of green space.
They do light in the park at Christmas, and it's beautiful. In May. There's tulips all over the place, and you can just walk through and it's beautiful.
We have the Times Union Center, which is pretty close to the Albany campus. They have lots of concerts, I attended those.
They do street fairs, lots of races, if anyone likes to do community running. There's also a lot of community theater.
We also have the Plaza which is relatively close to campus, and there's a museum that is free. There's also an ice skating rink so it's really popular in the winter. Lots of people go ice skating. It's really fun.
